KJERAGBOLTN HIKE - LYSEBOLTN DAY 105

Rode up the pass to the start of the hiking point for the 4.5km to the Kjerag Rock. You hike on solid rock all the way and have three steep ascend to make but not that bad, they have chains to help you , cause when it wet it was real slippery. Took two hours for me to get there and had no wind or rain ,was so lucky to have done it and seen the views without any clouds covering the mountains.
Climbing on the rock is a little scary, there's no railings and where you approach it has like three foot by six foot path and a 1000metre drop.  I made it on but not to comfortable as I thought I would be.
The view from up there is magnificent, the sheer Cliffs and had a view of the campsite near the start of the hike. Place is famous for where they jump from in a wing suite, 17 people have died over the last thirty years and on the way up met one and turns out he was from East London, South Africa.

Campsite on the right with my tent barely visible.

     Hut for emergencies only

This is the pass down to the fjord. Photo by others.
