Crossed into Western Sahara, not that you would know it but did see a lot more military presence, with posts every kilometre between the road and the ocean.
Was an easy ride on a new highway all the way along the coast and lovely and smooth with not much traffic down in this region. Passed four cyclists and saw two motorcyclists heading north and three passed me going south. I have slowed my pace and cruise at 85 -90 kmph so the guys blow by me , even some cyclists have overtaken me.
The desert winds hammered me the first couple hours till I got back to the coast at El Ouatia and then the road hugged the coast to Tarfaya and had no wind. Got a decent hotel at El Marsa for €23, and it's good value, stuff seems cheaper down here, fuel is much cheaper.
Devil's Hole
