Left at 1pm on the ferry for the three hour trip down the fjord. Lucky to have good weather to enjoy the views of the towering rock walls and to see Preikstolen from the fjord 608 metres above
Was only thirteen kilometers to the camp and I set up quickly and decide to go and hike since the weather was so great, cause who knows what tomorrow is going to be like.
So only got going at 4:40 pm which I was told is a four hour hike but I made it up in one hour twenty minutes. Almost the entire four kilometers is a path of large flat rocks that must have taken eons to build and very impressive and many stairs for the five hundred metre ascent. So many tourists coming down, so was a good thing I started late but there were still a lot of people on the Preikstool.

My phone was dead on arrival when I got up there so had someone else take some photo's for me. Was insane to look over the edge and the sheer drop straight down gave me the grulls.
Only took an hour to get down but I hustled all the way and people were still coming up from the parking lot and would have to hike down in the dark.
