Had breakfast with the gang and got off to a late start and we all went in different directions. I continued N for 28km on the dirt road and was not worth it but would have never known if I didn't not go.
Came down the same road 35 as yesterday but was as dry as a bone and lot easier to ride. Thought I would go see the rainbow mountain in Fiallabaki N.P. which is also in the Highlands and had a beautiful drive in amongst the green mountains and the scenery was quite something.
Got to a camp 22 km before the mountains and got set up and then the wind came and it was hectic, my tent was buckling and bowing and I was alittle concerned of it blowing away, some campers left cause they could not raise their roof top tents. They had no kitchen facilities but there was a hut with dirt floor and a table where I cooked my beans and out of the wind. I finally had to go to bed and inside the tent was even wilder , it shook and flapped all night and even got worse. I drifted in and out of sleep all night hoping it would ease up but no luck.
