EIDSDALEN DAY 110 320 km. 21*C

There are quite a few glaciers in this region so I stopped at two on my way out, but they are high up and can't get close to them unfortunately.

Continued N on E39 over some magnificent mountains and through some with beautiful fjords and many green fields and valleys all the way to Hellesylt for the ferry to Geiranger.
The place was teeming with tourists as there was a huge cruise liner docked. Was lucky to get on the ferry and it was there when I arrived and cost $58 for an hour down to Geiranger, because it is a private company not the state ferry which are so cheap.

    Geiranger.

Geiranger from above and the other pass is is on the left, little green patch.

The weather was crazy today , came out of a long tunnel and the wind was pumping and was warm and it got up to 21*C, hottest day so far, but only lasted a few hours and by the end of the day I was riding in a drizzle.
Was going to stay in Geiranger but just to crowded for me so rode about 20 kms out of town and found a lovely bungalow, which they call huts for $50 and is real nice with a kitchen and living room all in one and a bedroom with a washbasin, no toilet or shower.
