Went for a 6.30am walk on the beach and the fisherman were already out in their boats and there is never a chill in the air like you would expect, it's always warm and the water is to warm for me but hey for a few days it is nice to have a skinny dip and not freeze. Am practicing for when I get home and then will be complaining it's to cold.
On the walk back a little three year old talking French latches on to my finger and walked with me talking non stop to my tent and then sits with me for hours, it was unreal how he just had no worries and holds on to me. Hours later his mother came and fetched him. I could easily adopt him, he was so cute and just talked in French the entire time non stop.
Had fish again for dinner which I could hardly finish but did cause it was so tasty and no small damn bones. Then went up to the village and had a beer amongst the locals, they like to drink aswell.
The fisherman have small boats that weigh a ton, all dugout from a tree trunk and met a guy who was making a boat and told me it takes him thirty days from start to finish to carve out with a chopper.
After last night's fish I ordered fish for lunch and once again it was the best.
Was a real relaxing time which I had not planned on as I don't need to hang out at beaches, but was a gret experience with the locals and everyone was so friendly and playing with the kids everyday was a welcomed change, so looking forward to my grandkids now.
Basically repeated that for three days and the food was so good, for breakfast she would bring me an omelet and coffee with some fruit, but never the time I asked, always an hour later, they don't bother about time and now I can see why.
the background, and some chickens.
