Had to move to another hotel which is nearby and it is very similar, very clean and spacious. Went to see Red Clay which I thought was a bunch of houses made of mud, but no, it is a museum with with works mainly from
Ibrahim Mahama a renowned Ghananian artist.
I was almost done then four people came up to me and and asked me about my trip. Judith is from Hungary, an Opthalmologist and has lived in Tamale for twelve years and had friend visiting who is a professional photographer also from Hungary. Then there was a nice couple of locals that live at her house and we chatted for ages and then I ended up at lunch with them. Then she invited me to come see her building under construction, which was a huge three storey building for an Opthalmology Centre. Turned out to be a most interesting day, I then headed back to my hotel.
Shoe polishing boxes exhibit, people use to and still do have these boxes they carry around with their polish and brushes and drum on the side of the boxes to attract customers. It has been displayed in several countries.
