GUINEA-BISSAU BISSAU DAY 228 220km 17-12-24

CAP SKIRRING - SENEGAL  TO  BISSAU IN GUINEA-BISSAU    220kms.

Took all day to get there, met up with Phillipe  again and we both got our visas and insurance photocopied so we didn't  have to deal with the police having it on our phones, and giving them and oppertunity to make some money.
The borders were easy and only had to pay road tax of CFA2500. The policemen stamping me into GUINEA-BISSAU kept on saying five thousand,  five thousand but I reached over and took my passport and left. CDP stamped out and in was no problem.

LEAVING SENEGAL :
He copies your passport info into ledger then you go to the building under the mango tree.

And Pay road tax  CFA 2500  ($4 )

Then go down the road to this friendly guy who stamps your CDP out for Senegal.

Then you go to GUINEA-BISSAU and this guy stamps your in on your CDP

Now to Immigration where this police
   officer mutters five thousand several
times, and I reached over and took my passport from him and left.

The roads are really bad, asphalt with pot holes and then they turn to dirt and back and forth for the entire way, so you in 2nd and 3rd gear for hours.
Stopped along the way and had this fruit which I don't know what it is but didn't taste to bad, only food I could find for lunch.

This is the highway to Bissau and the same road below where it turned to red dirt.

Got a room ($30) with a shared bathroom , not the greatest but limited choices and it was late and I was hungry and thirsty.

Eating local and this is in the center of town !
