Took all day to get there, met up with Phillipe again and we both got our visas and insurance photocopied so we didn't have to deal with the police having it on our phones, and giving them and oppertunity to make some money.
The borders were easy and only had to pay road tax of CFA2500. The policemen stamping me into GUINEA-BISSAU kept on saying five thousand, five thousand but I reached over and took my passport and left. CDP stamped out and in was no problem.
LEAVING SENEGAL :
officer mutters five thousand several
times, and I reached over and took my passport from him and left.
The roads are really bad, asphalt with pot holes and then they turn to dirt and back and forth for the entire way, so you in 2nd and 3rd gear for hours.
Stopped along the way and had this fruit which I don't know what it is but didn't taste to bad, only food I could find for lunch.
Got a room ($30) with a shared bathroom , not the greatest but limited choices and it was late and I was hungry and thirsty.
