BISSAU DAY 230 18-12-24

   

   After going to DHL to get my Garmin which was not there I got a cab to the Nigerian Embassy to get a visa.

Got to the Embassy and there is nobody around, nobody wants to visit Nigeria ? I want to find the giy with all the money that I have been replying to his emails all these years.

The Vice Consul was very nice and we chatted for twenty five minutes but I could not get my visa. SA is free entry VOA but he Ccould not verify that and couldn't give me an answer, but I did get a photo of the requirements.

   Went down to the harbour where people are living in unbearable conditions in tiny shacks along the harbour wall.

    This is in center of town, all the buildings are dilapidated and crumbling down, these were the nicer one's.

    The local restaurant where I ate last night and tonight with Phillipe who got into town their evening with some car problems. Had chicken which was just bones with a little meat, was awful and turns out chicken costs more than fish.
