The mornings are cold up in the mountains, 9*C but beautiful blue skies, so you just have to suck it up. Went on the mountain road from Agouim through Troubal up to Lake Ifni, but needed to hike the last three kilometers which I was not able to do. Was a scenic ride up to the lake through the rugged desert mountains, the colours were stunning especially with the blue,blue sky and red rocks and green pastures. They build their homes in such remote places in the mountains hanging from the cliffs, have no idea where they work but guess they farm and herd goats and sheep all day.
Last week I briefly spoke to a guy from Czech and today I saw him again and we went and had coffee and chatted for over an hour. He then came with me to Touradant and we got a hotel ($25) and then went out for a Tidjan and then had a night cap up on the terrace and plan to ride tomorrow back up through the mountains towards Marrakech.
