SAINT PETERSBURG 429 km. DAY 125

On the road at 6:30 am and was a quick exit out the city with no traffic. All the road signs are in Russian obviously but no English so basically you are screwed. Was fortunate enough to pick the right road into the city and found a coffee shop which had wifi. 

Another fortunate experience when I asked a guy if he could make a call for me, but he was an Indian tourist, but the young guy next to him offerd to help me. I mentioned how screwed I am without being able to use my credit card, and the Indian told me of a site he used to pay for his hotel, Travel.com. We found a room but the transaction didn't go through , so he tried another site and my card went through and I had a nice hotel room at the Kristoff Hotel. What a relief cause now I will have enough cash for my stay.

Checked in and they even had a parking spot for free, showered then started walking down the main street which was packed with local tourists, no Americans, Germans or Dutch tourists. The street is super wide with wide pavements that are jammed with local tourists.
