Tip toed out of dorm and was going at 7am and did seven passes for the day.

Got the first five done before it started raining. Was a cold and wet day and got down to 2*C at the top of some of the passes and my fingers were freezing in my wet gloves. Was not ideal weather and now have a sore throat and my nose is just running and with a helmet on is not pleasant, have to stop all the time to blow it. Rode for eleven and a half hours and was happy to get to the hotel, which was old and tired but clean.
