Had breakfast and coffee and it sure seems to help get you going and having less headaches now. Campsite filled up overnight, couldn't believe how many people arrived so late.
I left at 7:30am on my last day, and headed to Studlagil Canyon over a good dirt road over the mountains and got there with hardly any cars in the parking lot where they make you pay €7 each time. After a thirty minute walk I arrived at the magnificent rock basalt canyon walls with the aqua blue river running through and luckily only a few tourists, which changed within a half hour.
Gott back to the parking lot and it was overflowing and met a German biker and he suggested I go see the Puffins whic is 140km away in Borgarfjördur ! So I did.
I could barely walk after my earlier hike, the new boots are killing me, I can't walk in them and don't know what to do about it other than get another pair. Rode back to the ferry port and was lucky to not have any rain or wind today. The campsite was full with all the people leaving tomorrow but managed to find space for my tent and met some of the guys I had bumped into along the way.
