So an American friend of mine I met in 1984 , picked him up hitch hiking in Cape Point and then later met him again in the USA and went to his place for Thanksgiving for many years in Larkspur, California set me up with his friend in Warsaw.
So got to Konrad and Marzenka's house at noon to a warm welcome. They have a beautiful home on the west side and I have a large room with a sofa and my own bathroom. Marzenka made a huge lunch and the eldest son also came over to join us, nothing like home cooked meals. Got all my washing done and just hung around and relaxed with a few beers and heard all about the history of Warsaw.
DAY136 WARSAW CITY TOUR
After a hearty breakfast Konrad took me to meet his 97 year old father and then we picked up his brother and they showed me around Warsaw for most of the day.
We returned home and had another large meal with Kaz and sat around and enjoyed the evening over a few beers.
Went into town and got a sim card with 800GB for two months for Europe for $10 and picked up some oil for the bike. Konrad was kind enough to clean all my tools which had rusted while I changed the oil on my bike.
Then we sat down and had lunch again and the Kaz came over and took me into the city by subway to show me the business area of town.
