Left in a light drizzle that lasted all day, with low clouds which hid all the mountain tops so quit early today because I was going to do the D952 but didn't want to do another three hours in the rain. I should have continued on yesterday in the nice weather and would have seen what I didn't see today.
RAUBON
All was not lost and actually was an enjoyable day stopping at some beautiful little French villages on the mountains and some more iconic passes that are less travelled.
Rode the M30 and over Col de la Couille and stopped at Guillaumes for coffee and a pastry. Then over Col de Valberg on D28 to D2202 to Col de la Cayolle at 2327m and the through the Gorges du Bachêlard and Gorges de Dalius.Turned at Entrevaux and up D911 which is a narrow road with many tight switchbacks so made it slow going especially in the wet.
