FAROE ISLANDS DAY 99 138 km.

Arrived at Torshavn the capital at 3 am. Went to a campsite and hung out in the lounge with two other bikers who pitched their tents and went to sleep. 

Left at 9 am for Klaksvik to take the 20 minute ferry ride to Kalsoy Island where I did a 1.5 hour hike to the Kuller lighthouse and ŵhere James Bond is buried and the farmer charges $28 and must make a small fortune. An easy hike on grass but was muddy but some gret views on reaching the lighthouse but there was clouds so couldn't see the tops of the mountains.

Also stopped at the Seal Woman of Miklladalur's statue perched on a rock by the sea, and has an amazing story.

The island is a narrow straight island only 18km long and you pass through four tunnels  to the end where the hike is and has a population of 300.

Went through the only undersea tunnel in the world with a traffic circle which is 11.2km long and costs $14.
